As owner of TRIAD HR Consulting, Dorothy A. Person brings experience as a director and practitioner of human resources in addition to project manager for classification/compensation studies for over 25 years. Dorothy has also been a human resources consulting business owner for over 10 years. She has a Masters of Public Administration certification, Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification and attended the University of Minnesota Business Administration.
She has consulted with small and large employers in employment settings of public, private and nonprofit, including a national consulting firm, state and local government, nonprofit organizations, financial institutions and owned a consulting company.
Dorothy’s approach to fair and practical answers to career issues grew out of civil rights investigations in the early 1970’s, involvement in state and local pay equity issues which led into the objectivity of classification/pay studies and general human resources which then evolved to synchronizing practical approaches to employers and employee issues.
Dorothy’s strengths are in seeing the issues from an experienced, objective and long range perspective. She is able to meet the business needs with the human resources perspective.
Dorothy is active in various associations including Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), Empowered Women, Kiwanis International, United Methodist Church.
Her associations with partners of affiliated services allow trusted and experienced referrals to related resources to meet client needs.
